Terms of service.
What you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.
This is a working draft. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer, and GamesCodes is not yet trading. We would rather publish our position openly and incomplete than leave you nothing to read — but until the operating entity is named in section 01, there is no counterparty here for a contract, and nothing on this site is a live sale.
Who we are
GamesCodes is currently operated as a pre-launch project and is not yet trading. The operating legal entity, its registered address and its jurisdiction will be named in this section before the store accepts live payments. Until then no binding sale is made through this site.
What we sell
Activation keys and gift links for games on third-party platforms. We are a reseller — we are not the publisher, and we are not affiliated with the platforms. You need an account on the relevant platform to use what you buy, and their terms apply to your use of the game.
Orders and payment
Prices are in euro. Placing an order is an offer to buy; the contract forms when we send your key. If a price is obviously wrong, we may cancel and refund rather than fulfil.
Delivery
Keys are delivered by email and in your account, normally within 24 hours of payment. Orders are prepared by a person, so this is a target and not a guarantee. If we cannot deliver, we refund in full.
Regions
Some keys only activate in certain regions. The region is stated on every product page, and it is your responsibility to check it before buying.
What you may not do
Buying to resell, buying automatically or in bulk, using stolen payment details, or attempting to obtain keys without paying. We may cancel orders and close accounts where we reasonably believe this is happening.
Refunds
As set out in Refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for delivering what you paid for. We are not responsible for platform outages, for a game being removed from a platform, or for anything you do with your account. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing limits your statutory consumer rights.
Law and disputes
The governing law will be stated here alongside the operating entity, before the store accepts live payments. Whatever it turns out to be, consumers keep the protections of their own country’s law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you ordered.
