Everyone knows that kings ruled and knights fought for honor and glory in the Middle Ages. But hardly anybody remembers the poor peasants who grew food for the storybook heroes. In The Guild III by THQNordic, you play as a poor serf with dreams of a better life. Work your way up the ranks of Medieval society to gain distinction and privilege. As your station improves you can use your newfound wealth to increase the production of your village. Trade with other cities and earn global recognition for your economic vigor. It’s not only kings and knights who have power. Earn your reward in The Guild III. Features A WEALTH OF SCENARIOS TO CHOOSE FROM – This new installment in The Guild series offers you a variety of cities where you can take power. The basic gameplay environments are located in central and northern Europe. Explore the Netherlands, work your way to the top of the London aristocracy, or bask in the riches of the Duchy of Burgundy. Each scenario offers unique in-game features, a different market, and specialized NPCs to interact with. In addition, new scenarios can be published and purchase in the Steam Marketplace. Where will your dynasty rule? SKILLFUL CHARACTERS – While The Guild 3 maintains the franchise’s focus on economic expansion, this game increases the importance of your characters. Experience points are awarded for completing specific actions and can be used to level skills that augment your success. Use your newfound talents to broker power, gain influence, or get the money for a sweet new set of clothes. What’s the point of being an aristocrat if you can’t dress like one? DID SOMEBODY SAY “SECRET SOCIETY”? When you travel back to the Middle Ages in The Guild 3 you start at the bottom and it’s a long way to the top.
